None of them has a separate page here, because the service is the same in all of them. ### Baix la Mar The old fishermen’s quarter between the castle walls and the port: low, narrow houses in a grid of streets parallel to the shore. Most houses have a single door straight onto the street, with no hallway or communal entrance behind it. The quarter is protected as a site of local relevance, so a new lock is chosen to leave the old door and its façade as they are. ### Les Roques and the old town Tight streets and traditional houses at the foot of the castle, with Loreto, Sant Pere and the Raset close by. Old timber doors and older locks are common. Give the nearest square or the name of a bar on the corner along with the street: in narrow streets it gets the van to the right end first time. ### The centre and Marqués de Campo Nineteenth-century merchant houses, blocks of flats over shops, offices and the busiest commercial streets. Flats here usually sit behind a street door with its own lock and then the front door of the flat. Say whether the street door opens, because that changes what the job is. ### Les Marines Apartments and houses along more than three kilometres of sandy beach to the north, strung out along the Carretera de les Marines. The Carretera de les Marines alone holds more registered holiday-let homes than any other street in Dénia. Give the building or complex name and the kilometre point if you know it; the road is long and many blocks look alike. ### Les Rotes Villas and second homes on the rocky coast south of the port, out towards the Cap de Sant Antoni. A villa here often has a gate, a garage and a front door, each on a different lock. Say which one refuses to open and whether the key turns at all. ### The Montgó slopes Urbanisations of detached houses on the lower slopes of the massif. Houses are spread along hillside roads, and many are second homes. A WhatsApp location pin saves a lot of searching up there. ### Camí del Llavador to Puerto Romano The residential belt between the town and Les Marines, around Avenida Miguel Hernández. A mix of year-round homes and newer holiday lets. For a block, the portal number matters as much as the street. ### La Xara A village within the municipality of Dénia, surrounded by orchards. Covered like any street in Dénia. Say “La Xara” first, so nobody looks for your street in town. ### Jesús Pobre A small village of Dénia on the southern side of the Montgó, about ten kilometres from the centre. It has its own streets and its own rhythm. Mention the village name before the street name. ### Les Madrigueres The industrial estate, with around 250 businesses in workshops, warehouses and trade units. Units usually have a shutter, a pedestrian door and an office. Have the person holding the keys and the paperwork reachable before the van sets off. ## What to tell us, wherever you are - The part of town or the village first, then the street. - The building, complex or urbanisation name if there is one. - A WhatsApp location pin: the single most useful thing you can send. - Which door: street door, your own door, gate, garage or slider. In Baix la Mar and Les Roques the streets are narrow and the van parks where it can, so the last few metres may be on foot.
